IPA has three levels of membership:
Assistant (AIPA)
Member (MIPA)
Researcher (FIPA)
Student membership
Students with a qualification in accounting can join student membership for free. Student members can get social opportunities, receive monthly electronic newsletters, career skills, and are eligible to participate in the IPA project.
In addition, graduate IPA student members and non-members who have completed an accounting degree or advanced diploma within the past three years are eligible for the Graduate Assistant Membership Level (GAIPA). This level of membership is designed to help students transition to full membership early in their careers. It provides newly graduated students with a significantly reduced membership without missing the benefits provided by a formal IPA membership
